my slice is going to be about spring break which is coming up this week. I couldn’t be more excited for a needed break off of school. We may not be going anywhere for vacation but it’s still a week off. I really hoped we were going out because we have like a week to do whatever. I hope the weather cooperates through Spring so me and my family can go on long bike rides.

My slice is that I went to go see captain marvel and it was a really good movie and I really enjoyed watching another marvel movie before the big avengers endgame movie. Endgame comes out April 26th but I go to Springfield that day so I can’t watch it the day it comes out. That unfortunate because we want to watch it opening night so we won’t have to be in the theater with a lot of people. Captain Marvel was just a movie about her story and how she came to be captain marvel.

My book club group is doing pretty well we are pretty well we are always on task and letting others speak sometimes. A Long way gone is a great book it tells a really great story about Ishmael Beah. It’s a life story about the civil war in Sierra Leone a country in Africa. The civil war was very bad and the rebels the ones who disliked the government and decided they wanted something of their own . This war negatively affects Ishmael because he looses his family due to this war. He ends up joining the rebels as a boy and uses cocaine and other drugs when they are fighting. It keeps them from getting tired and it makes them really hyper.

Yesterday on Monday I had to take my dog to the vet because she has health problems and I the doctor had slightly good news that she will be ok and afterward we bought her a lot of bones and food it’s basically a few months of food for my dog to eat. I really hope that she will be ok moving forward.

My slice of life for the weekend is that I got to go to one of my favorite restaurants rock bottom. It is a really good restaurant with really good burgers and I enjoy eating at that place and their calamari is the best that I’ve had from a restaurant. I just really love the food from there but that wait is very long  at Rock Bottom.

So over the weekend I went to stores and I picked out these really nice looking shoes but they didn’t have my size. So we ordered them online but it wasn’t available to purchase online. So we went to another foot locker in riverside because we were in oak park and we found the shoes again but they didn’t have my size either so we had to go around everywhere until we found that one footlocker that had the shoes. I later got the shoes but I forgot to wear them to school.

My favorite food is pizza  Crunch Crunch Crunch  Scrunch Scrunch Scrunch  Crunch Bunch Crunch This Poem is talking about a favorite food

The 3 positives of the week are getting map tests complete, Being able to go home and rest, Getting New Cement and helping my dad put rocks into our sidewalk to make it look more nice.

Map testing was pretty stressful because I had to sleep early and I had to wait like an hour so we can get to our other classes. But we took the wrong reading test so that was dumb.

I feel great because I can finally rest from school for a little while and I can go on vacations and my parents are getting married June 9th so that will be fun but the bad part is that I am going to be reading in Spanish.

Poetry is a mixture of rhymes and words

It feels good because now I know that I have succeeded for getting this goal and it just feels good knowing that...

Greek day was a day where we would do Greek Olympics like long jump,Sprint,Frizbee and other things. We traded our Greek crafts for other Greek crafts and then we went into the classroom and then we ate Greek foods.

The Weekend die for you I like this song because it has a good beat and it’s a nice song to listen too If u are bored.

My Chicago History Project is about the great Chicago Fire which destroyed almost the whole city and killed a lot of people this fire happened on October 7 1871 and everybody hoped that there would not be a fire in the city of Chicago.

My 4th Quarter Goals are to get good grades and participate more when I am in class.

All I did for spring break was chill at my house and that’s it...

I Hope That I get good grades on my report card so that my parents aren’t disappointed and take my Xbox and my technology.

So on Saturday I was going to a restaurant and while I was driving there there was these two cars the drivers were not paying attention as they just crashed into each other and there was a loud bang and it was those two cars in front of me and we passed by them and one was lit on fire and it was bad.
