A Long Way Gone

My book club group is doing pretty well we are pretty well we are always on task and letting others speak sometimes. A Long way gone is a great book it tells a really great story about Ishmael Beah. It’s a life story about the civil war in Sierra Leone a country in Africa. The civil war was very bad and the rebels the ones who disliked the government and decided they wanted something of their own . This war negatively affects Ishmael because he looses his family due to this war. He ends up joining the rebels as a boy and uses cocaine and other drugs when they are fighting. It keeps them from getting tired and it makes them really hyper.

Slice of life Spring Break

my slice is going to be about spring break which is coming up this week. I couldn’t be more excited for a needed break off of school. We may not be going anywhere for vacation but it’s still a week off. I really hoped we were going out because we have like a week to do whatever. I hope the weather cooperates through Spring so me and my family can go on long bike rides.

Slice of life

One moment in my life that I enjoyed was when I went to six flags for the first time and it was scary because I got scared from the rides because it was my first time going on a ride since Disney. I liked Six Flags because they had a variety of rides that are like really fun and enjoyable. The first ride that I went on I think was super man and that one was very enjoyable for me almost made me throw up after but it was fun. Six Flags overall is a great place to go if u enjoy rides and just love to go on scary rides that possibly could make u throw up after the ride. I also loved the Batman ride that one I enjoyed a lot. Batman was probably one of my favorites because it wasn't one of the rides that makes u that dissy it was a ride that was really fun because my phone almost flew out of my pocket it was very close falling off on superman that would've been bad.
